The American Association for Justice’s 2022 Winter Convention will be held at The JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort and Spa.

Registration kiosks will be available throughout the meeting area of The JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort. The registration hours are as follows:

Saturday, February 12   12:00 pm-5:00 pm
Sunday, February 13   7:30 am-3:00 pm
Monday, February 14   7:30 am-6:00 pm
Tuesday, February 15   7:30 am-11:00 am
The Exhibit Hall is in the Belmont Room at The JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort. The Exhibit Hall Hours are as follows:

Attending an AAJ Convention is an exclusive benefit provided only to the following AAJ member types and their guest: Regular, Sustaining, President’s Club, Life, Paralegal Affiliates, Government, Military, Retired, Law Students, Law Graduates, and Law Professors. Judges as well a State and Provincial Trial Lawyers Association Directors and their Staff are welcome.

Yes, you will be able to receive CLE credit from the education sessions. AAJ Education programs are routinely accredited by states requiring continuing legal education. For all livestream programs, AAJ will apply for accreditation to state bars and report your attendance. For all pre-recorded education programs, AAJ will apply for accreditation and attendees will need to report their hours directly to their state bars.

There will be stations set-up at the AAJ booth, and the AAJ Helpdesk, where you will be able to find the CLE Forms and instructions on filing them out. Please return the completed forms to the AAJ Booth before you leave the Convention. If you do not get a chance to do so, please email or fax them to AAJ.

Yes, all CLE recordings and materials will be available to attendees after the convention.

Please return your certificate of attendance for any live stream programs to education@justice.org. Attendees are responsible for their own reporting for any pre-recorded videos. Further details on this process will be provided with your certificate of attendance and CLE worksheet.

The app for the Convention will be available for download approximately one week prior to convention. You will receive an email prior, containing the download instructions along with your login and password to access the app.

You have until February 7, 2022 to register by phone or fax, but you can register throughout the convention online until February 15, 2022.

AAJ is continuously looking for new, energetic speakers to share their knowledge and skills with the AAJ community. More information on serving as a CLE speaker can be found online at https://www.justice.org/what-we-do/enhance-practice-law/aaj-education/speaking-opportunities.

Yes, you can transfer your registration. The person must be a member of AAJ and an eligible member type to attend convention. Please email conventioncancellation@justice.org and be sure to include the new registrants name and contact information.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to AAJ. Cancellations received by December 3, 2021, are subject to a 10% cancellation fee. Cancellations received between December 4 and January 7, 2022, will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. After January 7, 2022, requests for refunds will not be honored. Please email your cancellation request to conventioncancellation@justice.org.

AAJ will not cancel your hotel reservation, you must do that directly with OnPeak at AAJ@ONPEAKEVENTS.COM. After the housing cut-off, you will need to contact the hotel.

No childcare services will be provided for this convention.

The dress code for the Winter Convention is Resort Causal for AAJ functions.

The hotel is 12.2 miles from the Palm Springs International Airport (PSP).

The Palm Springs International Airport offers a variety of ground transportation options, from major rental car companies to taxicabs, limousines, and Rideshare companies (Uber and Lyft) all conveniently located across from the terminal building. Yes, there will be WIFI at the convention. The information will be provided onsite upon check-in.
