AAJ’s Caucuses and Trial Lawyers Care Service Project

Saturday, February 12, 2022
Morning Session: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Afternoon Session: 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm
Elder Love USA, Inc.
helps older adults
and their families by assisting with day-to-day activities such as housekeeping, cooking, medication
management, transportation, personal care, pet care and more at a reduced rate. They are a creative
and innovative solution that focuses primarily on helping those middle-class older adults who make "too
much" to qualify for free help, but not enough to pay traditional in-home care rates. Elder Love has
no minimum hourly requirements and no long-term contracts.
All members who are attending the Winter Convention are encouraged to attend. Our volunteers will be
working in their Thrift Store, helping to receive and sort donations, price and tag them, then clean
and organize! All proceeds from the Thrift Store go to support this non-profit. We are also working
with the organization to develop a wishlist for items that they need to be successful. More information
on that will be available in January.
There will be two shifts available to accommodate those who wish to attend the WTLC Leadership Summit
as well as those who are arriving on Saturday morning. The organization is located just 10 minutes from
the JW Marriott, making it easy for members to attend. To RSVP or for more information, please email
jennifer.rafter@justice.org.
Project Night Night is the Palm Springs convention community service project, a non-profit organization that provides tote bags filled with a new security blanket, age-appropriate children’s book, and stuffed animal to homeless children ages birth to
pre-teen. Each year, 25,000 homeless children receive Night Night Packages.
Please consider helping vulnerable Palm Springs residents by volunteering to assembly the tote bags on Sunday, February 13, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, located in the Springs Ballroom Terrace. No minimum amount of time is required; come by the South Foyer and donate as much time as your schedule permits.
